Position Overview

GenTech Health is seeking a motivated Oncology Data Specialist Intern to join our team on-site in Central Valley, PA. This internship provides hands-on experience in managing, analyzing, and interpreting oncology-related clinical and research data. Candidates from any academic background can benefit, especially those with a strong understanding of human biology or anatomy. Applicants must be residents of Central Valley, PA. This internship could lead to a long-term opportunity and potential full-time employment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and validate oncology-related datasets.

• Support development and maintenance of oncology databases.

• Perform basic data analysis and generate reports for research studies and clinical trials.

• Collaborate with clinicians, researchers, and data scientists.

• Ensure data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA).

• Assist in preparing data visualizations and summaries for presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s student or recent graduate in any field; strong background in human biology or anatomy preferred.

• Must be a resident of Central Valley, PA.

• Familiarity with data tools (Excel, SQL, R, Python) is a plus but not required.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive data.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
